CREATIVE PERSONALIZATION THROUGH CONNECTED-STORIES NEXT

The main objective of our platform is to reach a level of dynamic personalization to significantly increase the effectiveness of advertising video campaigns. To do so, we provide an easy-to-use tool to build personalized experiences: Journey Designer. Both powered by third and first-party data, Journey Designer is used to easily set up and develop a dynamic personalized video campaign.

Journey Designer allows you to personalize the consumer journey. Establishing stages and conditions determine how users move from one stage to the other. Journey Designer is capable of creating sequences to be shown at the appropriate time for each user. Journey Designer allows for a vertical personalization in DCO (Dynamic Creative Optimization) fashion, allowing to swap elements (including videos) and create thousands of different variations in real-time.

This combination of horizontal (paralleling the consumer's journey) and vertical (creative variations based on geo-location conditions) personalization guarantees the user is always reached by the most relevant content at every stage of the journey.

Examples of ways to use Journey Designer include the creation of storytelling sequences, full-funnel campaigns (from awareness to conversion), storyboarding, and any other path you might want the user to take within your advertisement.

POWERFUL YET EASY TO USE

By creating Journey Designer, we wanted to provide platform users with a set of tools that could harness the power of creative personalization while providing a visually appealing and easy-to-use tool. For this reason, we came up with drag and drop features thus allowing for a smooth and easy application.

Horizontal

Vertical

In the two examples above, we see how the Journey Designer can be put to use by creating a sequence resembling a consumer journey (horizontal example) and creative variations based on geo-location conditions (vertical example). In both cases, the pink boxes (switch-node) contain a set of personalization conditions, while the orange boxes or stages represent the creative element or content to be triggered accordingly. Both tools can be used independently, but it’s their combination that provides an extensive and powerful personalization across all stages of your campaign. The Journey Designer continues to grow and innovate new ways to interact with consumers on their journey to interacting with your brand or product.

CONDITIONS USED FOR CREATIVE PERSONALIZATION

Personalized Conditions are used within the Journey Designer to recognize and place each user within the correct stage of the consumer journey. This way, each user is always reached by the most appropriate messaging, maximizing the number of positive interactions with your ad. Connected-Stories NEXT allows advertisers to choose among a wide and ever-updating range of conditions.

Personalized Conditions are divided into two main categories: audience and behavioral. Audience-based conditions are passed down to Connected-Stories NEXT by 3rd-party solutions like DSPs (demand side platforms) or DMPs (data management platforms). Connected-Stories NEXT is integrated with a large number of these platforms to improve the success of campaigns. Audience-based conditions are extremely useful when it comes to serving catered content to specific audience groups. Behavioral conditions, on the other end, allow utilizing data generated by the user's interactions with creative content. Interactions can be passive or active, such as clicking on a CTA (call to action) or watching video content. Behavioral conditions allow Connected-Stories NEXT to understand user interests and preferences and then provide content that will be most likely to engage consumers.

To insert Personalized Conditions select your preference in the drop-down menu of the ‘Switch-Node’ box. Your selection will be customized based on new integrations or partnerships with 3rd party vendors. For a detailed list of all the conditions visit the Conditions section.
