Upload Assets
Before After defining your journey and before creating any story, the first step is to upload assets of you can upload images and videos that would be used in the campaign.
There are 2 kinds of library: Image Library and Video [N1] Library.
A) video assets that you want to use in your campaign.
Connected Stories has an Image Library which supports PNG and jpeg files and a Document Library for .MP4 videos.
HOW TO UPLOAD ASSETS

Create Stories
After uploading assets, you can begin the process of structuring stories.
1) To add a Campaign, Click on the Campaigns tab in the navigation bar on the left.
B) Select Add Campaign button to create a new campaign. To edit, export, or delete an existing one click on the "..." right next to the existing campaign.
C) Name the new campaign
D) At this stage you can already define the Rules Engine (TBD) in order to set up your campaign's objective
2) Add Format
A campaign can have as many formats as requested by the digital brief. Formats define your campaigns ads placements.
A) Open the campaign you just created in order to add new formats.
B) Click on Add Format button to add a new format.
C) Name the new format.
D) Under frontend template, select the placement format you want to setup.
E) Save format.
F) By clicking add format, you can add more formats to the campaign.
G) Clicking on the format you just create will move you to the stories creation section.
3) Add Story
A format can have as many stories as needed. Stories define your campaigns ads placements.
A) Select the format you just created in order to add new stories.
Stories have 3 main components that need to be defined: Story Data, Video, and Widgets.
Story Data
Story Data define the main settings of the story you are creating.
A) Name your new story.
B) Select a background image URL (you can choose from the assets you have already uploaded or upload new ones). Background Images are displayed in the ad's background.
C) Choosing Workflow status. "Draft" will save your story without publishing it, "Published" will make the story go live right after saving it. [Needs to be updated in the story management interface]
D) Context allows you to select which part of the rules engine will be associated to the story you are creating.
E) Through Rules Engine option, you can define a rule-based option for your story by selecting one of the many available.
F) Through Game option, you can define a gaming option for your story by selecting one of the many available.
Video
The video you choose will become the main asset of your story.
A) You can select a Thumbnail that will appear when your video is paused. If none is selected a thumbnail will generate automatically.
B) Under Playback Type select "VOD" if you want your video to start with a one-click or "Live" if you want the video to start automatically.
C) Select a title for your video.
D) Select a Video (you can choose from the assets you have already uploaded or upload new ones).
E) Hit Save to save the story you just created. [What is the reason to have Save and Continue as an option?]
Widgets[N4]
After defining Story Data and Video, you can further customize your story by adding widgets.
A) Click on the tab Edit Widget to access a list of the seven types of widgets from which you can choose:

Prediction
Minisite
Poll
Maps
Voting
Lottery

B) Select the widget you want to add to your story by clicking on to preference.
C) Open up and edit widget preference to customize the widget both in terms of placement and content.
D) When you are done hit set preferences. That would allow you to save your settings.
E) Save story once more and then hit the go back button on the right end corner.
F) By clicking on the story you just created you will be able to access the Preview Mode. There is where you will pair the widgets with the story.
Synchronize Events and Preview Stories
After creating your story and setting up the widgets, you can sync them to events and view them in preview mode.
A) Click on the story you just created in order to access Preview Mode.
B) To add an event to your story, hit the button New Event.
C) Name the event and define when you want that to be triggered (do not forget that you if you want to end an event you will need to create an event that will hide the previously associated widget).
D) An event can have one or multiple widgets associated with it. So go ahead and click save and add widget to add one.
E) Add a description of your widget so that you don't forget what that is and if you want, add a tag too.
F) Define which widget type you want to use (Web Content, Quiz, etc.)
G) By selecting Show or Hide under mode, you will define the status of widget for that event. If you want to close an event you will select Hide.
H) Select Widget Id. Here you can choose between an overlay widget (a widget that will be on top of your video) or one that will be place in an untapped area of your layout. Mind that there cannot be multiple widgets in the same area at the same time.
i) Then you can either browse widget that you have already created or create new ones from scratch by selecting add widget.
J) Hit save and go back. You will see your newly created event with its widget in the bar on the right end.

- When creating a story you just need to select the needed asset from your folder by clicking on "Choose".
Assets can be further added and managed while in the story editor so that you won't have to go back and forth and interrupt the campaign creation flow.
